Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: On Friday, Saturday & Sunday we operate from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM. Monday – Thursday we operate from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. If you would like to start earlier, we most likely can accommodate.

Q: Do I need to book a reservation?

A: Yes. To book a reservation, please click “Book an Appointment” on the Book a Tour page.

Q: What does the tour include?

A: The tour includes your very own tour guide, a cooler, music, & an all-around good time!

Q: What if I want to bring my own music?

A: You can! The passenger bicycle includes a blue tooth speaker so you can play any music you’d like. However, if you don’t have music, that’s okay too. We have a variety of playlists you and your guests can choose from.

Q: How long is the tour?

A: As long as you want! You may book the cycle for any duration! However, our standard tour is 2 hours. If you would like to book the cycle for a longer duration, please contact us.

Q: How do I pay?

A: We require a $100 deposit to reserve a tour. We find it easier to pay the entire balance before the day of your tour to avoid collecting payment the day of. Payment must be collected before your tour can begin. Payment methods include any major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.) as well as cash or check.

Q: Do you accept multiple forms of payment?

A: Yup! We sure do! Also, if multiple people want to pay, that is okay as well.

Q: Do I have to sign a liability waiver?

A: Yes. Each passenger must sign our standard liability waiver.

Q: Where does my tour begin?

A: Anywhere you want in Soulard. We’ll pick you up!

Q: Where does my tour end?

A: Your tour ends based on the pickup location of the next booking. If there is no booking after yours, you choose!

Q: How many people can ride on the Tipsy Pedaler?

A: The maximum amount of persons allowed is 15 passengers.

Q: What if I want to cancel?

A: Cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance. If you cancel before two weeks of your scheduled ride, we will refund you money. If the cancellation is made after that, you forfeit your deposit.

Q: What happens if there is bad weather?

A: Unless there is lighting or thunder, get ready to ride! It is very rare that we cancel bookings due to inclement weather. However, if there is a cancellation, you will be notified via the email you provided when you booked your appointment.

Q: Should I tip my driver?

A: Our tour guides take great passion in what they do and ensuring you and your guests have the best experience possible. A 10% – 20% tip is customary and appreciated, but not required.

Q: Do passengers really power the entire bicycle by pedaling?

A: They can! However, there is also an electric motor function on the back if needed. Some of those hills in Soulard are pretty steep!

Q: How dangerous is it?

A:  No more dangerous than riding a bicycle.

Q: What about alcohol? Is it available for purchase on the tour?

A: It is available for purchase at any of the bar stops we encounter, however, it is not available through Tipsy Pedaler. Feel free to BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage).

Q: What should I bring?

A: You are responsible for bringing all beverages. Any alcohol you bring MUST be in a can or plastic container. Ice is also strongly recommended. You may also bring any decorations if you’d like. In fact, we encourage it!

Q: What if I want to take pictures?

A: Do it! We want you to capture every moment of the debauchery that ensues!

Q: What if I want to book a happy hour?

A: You can! Our tours are frequently used for groups to participate in happy hours!

Q: Sunday Funday? Do people really do that on the Tipsy Pedaler?

A: You Betcha! We encourage all Sunday Funday-ers to book a tour!
